About this project
They didn’t want a pergola with pillars, so a Box awning was chosen. The required size was 550 cm x 365 cm to provide sun protection in the living room and on the terrace. They also wanted protection from the late afternoon sunlight.
The Markilux MX-1 comes with the option of the “Super-shade” system, consisting of a vertical skirt with micro-perforated fabric integrated into the front of the awning. This device can be deployed and retracted up to 170 cm, including by remote control.
